It's not much of a difference tbh. I think part of that is remenant belief from Diablo II! Fairly sure blizz have stated they didn't want it to be a big difference or people would just farm the cow level and no other parts of the game. And that is not what they want.

According to the theories in forums, the secret cow level seems to drop best loot in the game (one step above last level of your difficulty), and also has significantly higher droprate of legendaries.

But yeah, D3 is single player game for most, so server problems at Blizz are epic fail.

WoW had frequently 2-3 day outages during vanilla and early TBC after wednesday maintenances.

I dunnoooo. I think the WoW forum would descend into worse rage if faced with a similar situation.

Kinda proves that WoW players are more mature in comparison. Regardless of the minimum age limit of the game.

There seems to be an unusual amount of nerdrage in the D3 tech support forum. It actually makes the wow forums look mature by comparison.

Application template for social applicants
« on: Thursday, 03 Nov 2011, 13:52:57 »
Social membership is intended for friends and family of current members. In order to join, a current member need to vouch for you.

Social members are most welcome to sign for any raid, regardless if it's farm or progress. Though members committed to the raid team will simply have prio on spots. So it's possible to play rather casual and see some raiding now and then by just looking out a bit for spots to fill. No guarantees however.

BUT:
We're not a good guild to join for a non-raiding spot if the raid team is the goal. There's no waiting list, no queue for joining the raid team. There are no guarantees we'll ever have an opening even. Any such illusions should be clarified before joining, we assume applicants read the stickies before applying.

The process is as follows:
1. You send your application in a PM to the real life friend/family member who has agreed to vouch for you.
2. This member will then take care of all the paperwork, and sing your praise on our members-only board for application review.

Applications posted directly on the board will be declined. For further questions, please contact the member who is vouching.

Information you should provide us with:
Your character name, level, class and armoury link

Social Application Template:

  • Tell us a little about yourself as a person, such as your name, age, country and ability with English.
  • Who do you know in Prophecy that will vouch for you?
  • Do you have any other characters that you play on a regular basis?
  • Why do you want to join Prophecy? What are your game goals? (endgame PvE-raiding, PvP, RP, ...)
  • Have you been in other guilds? If so, then what are the reasons for leaving your previous guild(s)?
  • What do you expect from the guild?
  • Do you have any additional questions/comments ?

Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. Realize strength! Move on.
