It's not much of a difference tbh. I think part of that is remenant belief from Diablo II! Fairly sure blizz have stated they didn't want it to be a big difference or people would just farm the cow level and no other parts of the game. And that is not what they want.

According to the theories in forums, the secret cow level seems to drop best loot in the game (one step above last level of your difficulty), and also has significantly higher droprate of legendaries.

But yeah, D3 is single player game for most, so server problems at Blizz are epic fail.

WoW had frequently 2-3 day outages during vanilla and early TBC after wednesday maintenances.

I dunnoooo. I think the WoW forum would descend into worse rage if faced with a similar situation.

Kinda proves that WoW players are more mature in comparison. Regardless of the minimum age limit of the game.

There seems to be an unusual amount of nerdrage in the D3 tech support forum. It actually makes the wow forums look mature by comparison.

WeakAura for Baleroc Healing
« on: Monday, 29 Aug 2011, 03:07:14 »
So one of the biggest things in Baleroc is knowing who you're supposed to be healing at any given time
So I've written a custom aura in WeakAuras (you do have WeakAuras, right?) which tracks and displays who you are supposed to be healing throughout the fight.

The import string is as follows:
Code: [Select]
de0lgaqikfTiOuUeLcFckuJckrNckkVckq3IIAxuQAycPJrrwMsKNHkmnuPUMsuBtO6BkPghQOZrPY9ucTpOq6Gkjwif8qLKUiLsTrOunsLGvcvntOKUjuq2jf6NqjmuOiTuOq8uQMkLCvOi(kua7v1FrQbl1HrSyOYJH0KLKld2me(mQA0sQtlXRPuYSvQBJKDJYVjA4q0Yj8Cftx01fSDH47qr14rLCEHY6HcQ9t6B6w3PUxDV6w3rizPxWWWnYHD3RkdYnjMfWvE3gO3rdtkPSaUY7icm0SizyjMP41wBT1wXRT2ARnoYgesuAuzGLGq7f1ghzdcjknQmWsqGbnP41wBT1wXRT2ARDbH24iBqirPrLbwccTTH2lP9IlQDuTZAGP41wBT1wBT1wBbKbbtBSTaq2ABry2ASj2u8ART2Ad7bu8ART2ART2ARTaYGGPn2waiBTTKckGL2eBkET1wBTbwLIhyv3JHfiqmqEJMnf9oAysjLfWvIjiRijChIaS8obnls2CR7tse5TUtbZq4H7wWKfgV2giBqir1offEEqy)D0WKsQ7MnRTdP2zDz0oczhaTtP2znOnVqgqQDmzqXB2S2tTmSR0ghODnq2fgV2fwjlK9oM9kEfVzZAhv7YOTLuqbS0EfVzZABs7YOTfHzRXETv8kECKniKO0OYalbH2lQTP7uWmeEGgTMWyW(oN3RK0OHjLu3W9kjnfmdHhoU7uWmeEGoJHeUV6cRy0OTX6Z7ikSYuFR7uWmeEGoJHeUV6cRy0OTX6DkygcpC3azdcjQ2yaGyRvccI2b2wsQGk7VxjPPGzi8WXDNcMHWd0O1egd23J)859uu45bXTUpYGafmsOG7giBqirVxfeKSiz3Jhn6DicWY7RwtsTXqWmeE4ofmdHhUJDPCRnLuKK9yV2leeBTJjdIb2rGr7clLAhtgeAlXCM2vavzaBEpma9idcuWiHcoU7uWmeEGwIeeKukUJOWQWsm2gdgJz3dmicWY7zHcQUhgGMcMHWd3W9mgs4oeby5Z7KQQswKmYMoffEEqm36gnDR7POWZdIBDpma9GeqlikO0bwjVH7zmKW9jjzyUhyL8oo5mMUpbCqeGLEabIcx3PxDf3I2TwbJyDpman6MmZXDhjiqbwwdKDwFp6DicWY7ycRKAVAnrqqtquMSGo3ddqhyL8gUhgGMrOGB4Eya6bjS3gjuWnCNrOG7giBqirVhyqeGL3jHuEFc4GialXubGOW1DhtTnwX69Wa0ibbkWYAGSZ6B4osqGcSSgi7SMwIeeKukUJrx8(Ge2BJek4gJ(8EGLIcppiU19Wa0dsaTGOGshyL8gUhyL8oo5mME(85DmVuL1h7R5oo3Rnf1o7Ig3U4CYX6JWm3CENlSabIbYJ9LTBn3RnfF5L4yjtX50U4hH54CCVuD3RjIQrBjcTTKckGLABwBVMiG71qHVop2xMBo5CD8LwE5OCeFjo4GZJWm3RVla(IKzfdjCpbUY7BjP6w3fYnCR7uHDwU1ZN3ddqZGiG44UhgGgvsHJK3WZN3N7ctRxFpYnAI7OrF(d
Copy / paste this into the 'Import' option in the main window of the addon and it should ask you to install the Aura, do so.

You can see how it looks at the top middle of this screenshot: (click to make bigger)

By default it assumes you're healing the tanks initially, but this is something you can change. If you're healing torment first go to the Actions tab and hit the red 'Expand Text Editor' button, you should see something like this:

Just change
Code: [Select]
baleroc_counter = 1 to
Code: [Select]
baleroc_counter = 0 and you're all set!

If you want to move, resize, change colour etc of the text then you can do so in the Display Tab using all the sliders etc that are around half way down the main panel.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  I have been and will be making WeakAuras for other bosses and I'll probably make a thread to store them all in at some point.

Hope this helps!

Nice work!!
PvP = Player versus Player, not Vehicle versus Wall.

When does the add-on say to switch? On the crystal spawn, or despawn?

One in the OP triggers on shard spawn, I can change it to Shard cast (which chat message now uses) to make it appear faster, if you would prefer that?

I was thinking more about some people saying start healing when shard despawns. So did anyone stop healing after two flame buffs, even though they started 5 seconds early?

Is everyone healing torment stopping and waiting 5 seconds, moving, then healing?
