It's not much of a difference tbh. I think part of that is remenant belief from Diablo II! Fairly sure blizz have stated they didn't want it to be a big difference or people would just farm the cow level and no other parts of the game. And that is not what they want.

According to the theories in forums, the secret cow level seems to drop best loot in the game (one step above last level of your difficulty), and also has significantly higher droprate of legendaries.

But yeah, D3 is single player game for most, so server problems at Blizz are epic fail.

WoW had frequently 2-3 day outages during vanilla and early TBC after wednesday maintenances.

I dunnoooo. I think the WoW forum would descend into worse rage if faced with a similar situation.

Kinda proves that WoW players are more mature in comparison. Regardless of the minimum age limit of the game.

There seems to be an unusual amount of nerdrage in the D3 tech support forum. It actually makes the wow forums look mature by comparison.

Interrupt tracker addon (hi Nefarian, Halfus etc)

Interrupt Tracker addon

I was bored last night and decided to write this stuff so we have an easier time following rotations. I know we all have macros, but they are messy: lots of spam (most of us mash keys), and if you press it at a wrong time, it will still show the macro text, making the rotation a bit hard to follow.

As such, I wrote an addon based solely on the interrupt spells (and I only picked the often-used ones, meaning no "ohshit <insert 2min cd ability>" ones). It works very simple: when you cast an interrupt spell, it will display a /say with the "Interrupted!" text. It triggers when your interrupt spell (Kick, Pummel, Mind Freeze etc) hits the target, so:
- if you press the button while the skill is on CD, it won`t display anything
- if you use the spell without interrupting an ability, it will display the text (as your interrupt-skill is on CD now)

In order to toggle it on/off, just use /itracker enable.

edit: For any bugs/troubleshooting, poke me in-game.

I know there may be other addons out there which are far superior; but it`s meant to be a simple thing. Also, it was the perfect excuse to actually learn how AceDB-3.0 works ;D

Crazy things I did :
- Tanked Gruul (MT), Hydross (MT) and Kara (OT) pre 3.0 at level 70 (on the rogue)
- Soloed Ley-Guardian Eregos (heroic) at level 80
- Soloed Doomwalker (on the DK) at level 80

Missing 2 interrupts - the druid Skull Bash.

Code: [Select]
--------------------------------
------------ Druid --------------
--------------------------------

-- Skull Bash (Bear)
if spellId == 80964 then
InterruptTracker:Report()
end

-- Skull Bash (Cat)
if spellId == 80965 then
InterruptTracker:Report()
end

People using Curse Client should notice that there is totally different addon with same name, and the one Maky made will be overwritten if you choose to update it.
