It's not much of a difference tbh. I think part of that is remenant belief from Diablo II! Fairly sure blizz have stated they didn't want it to be a big difference or people would just farm the cow level and no other parts of the game. And that is not what they want.

According to the theories in forums, the secret cow level seems to drop best loot in the game (one step above last level of your difficulty), and also has significantly higher droprate of legendaries.

But yeah, D3 is single player game for most, so server problems at Blizz are epic fail.

WoW had frequently 2-3 day outages during vanilla and early TBC after wednesday maintenances.

I dunnoooo. I think the WoW forum would descend into worse rage if faced with a similar situation.

Kinda proves that WoW players are more mature in comparison. Regardless of the minimum age limit of the game.

There seems to be an unusual amount of nerdrage in the D3 tech support forum. It actually makes the wow forums look mature by comparison.

Sony to stop production of the Walkman
« on: Wednesday, 27 Oct 2010, 02:05:12 »
Is this where I show my age?

Was amazed* then saddened to hear the news that Sony are to stop production of their Walkman :(

I remember being jealous that my older brother got one, all I got was some cheap copy a year later at Christmas  >:(

For some reason my Mum gave me a few of her old tapes to play - which included Abba... A few months afters getting my cheap-copy-of-a-Walkman I was buying tapes for about £2 :D

*WTF they were still producing them?

Actually the media jumped the gun. Sony has stopped producing and selling Walkmans in Japan only. In the rest of this outdated world they are apparantly still a viable product :D

Horrible Google Translation from Danish :P

For some bizarre reason, some motor vehicles are still sold here with cassette decks and no CD player. The other day, I got into a rental car that was brand new and there it was. People younger than me probably spend some time trying to figure out how to slot their CD into that.

Why anything still supports that format is beyond me, but apparently there is still some kind of market for it.

I still have one exactly like this:

I lost track of how many CD players and DVD players I went through over the years, but that red brick still works.

Aw I remember those!

Not being much of a music person I really don't know what the latest music holding thingy is so I'm older/more outdated than most modern people ^^

I'm pretty young, but I still remember begging mom for the Aqua's tape.
Yes, Aqua. Something wrong with that? I was like 10!
And I still have Spice Girl's one and other stuff. And a working walkman.
Sigh, I feel a bit sad remembering that stuff. And feel old.

And I remember aswell doing a mix tape for my best friend of the time.

Hah, the first sort of musical device I got was a CD player walkman just like this one, a little bit older than that model though but couldn't find the picture. >.<

Practice makes perfect.

I had a Sony CD player too, but to be honest... it was a total waste of cash. I hardly every used it because I just felt it was too bulky.

This was when CDs were still quite expensive, most of my music collection was in cassette form, my (older) friends had crappy old tin-box cars with cassette players too. So why buy CDs? New fangled technology surely wouldn't last long?
