Haha well, for healers as far as it looks, belf is still the best option racial wise for the mana regen, since healers will really worry about it.
For dps trolls ~= goblins, though goblins seem to have more fun stuff ignoring the haste part. But trolls look awesome and that`s +1 although I must admit I sometimes feel like I miss my belf ^^ just a little tiny bit. *hides from the angry mob*

And orcs don`t work for priests anyway Kaas
And I, as a shadow priest, like to have ONE cd in my whole arsenal xD since always priests cried for not having a dps cd (no, we don`t...).

Not that it matters, the correct option is always to go Troll. I want to see me a full 25man raid with 25 trolls! (Drood got kings so we don't need no buffbot pally ).

Don't worry Al, there is great potential in Renjin.

Renjin has promised to join my tanking spree leveling, after wich Renjin will undoubtedly be a changed troll.

Have they done the racial ability changes in beta yet?

They already announced that old racials will stay, and aren't getting revamped. Only thing what they are doing is tweaking the cooldown or duration of certain things. Ratio will stay the same, but some abilities can be used more often. Or less often.

Junk buffs like herb grazing skill taurens have are getting slightly redone. It's not just small bonus to the skill, but also makes it faster which is actually pretty useful for grazing... err... farming bot.

Regardless of us being some uberleet raiders, class is a matter of what you want to stare at all day. Some people care not about this, but some of us do. I derive alot of my enjoyment playing Kati because she is a troll, and as such, she looks awesome when she's jumping around with her funky bright red hair. She's also superfun to draw and RP.

Personally I'd always go for a troll or a ladyorc. But if you like cows. COW IT UP!

Here's a quick checklist to help you decide race:

1) PvE or PvP utility. If you do not care, go to step 2, if you care, pick a troll or undead

2) Casting animations and sound effects. Play all races 1-2 levels to see the animations and sounds, if something is annoying in 10 minutes, it'll drive you mad in a year.

3) Ass. Seriously. You'll be looking at your character's ass over 50% of the time you're playing WoW. Pick one that is aesthetically pleasing.

I think everyone staring at a bear butt, will zoom out eventually...or was that because bears usually want to see everything that happens around them 

Anyway, the ass remark is redundant since everyone should zoom out to be able to see what's happening around them...pick a troll
