I`ll try to write the news post up while I`m still recovering from happiness (and a bit of laughter) hehe.
<Prophecy> defeats Valkyr and Faction Champions in Heroic Coliseum 25Our second real night in Coliseum, two more bosses drop dead! After a one-hour late start in the raid due to not having enough people online, we ended up filling the raid with a few social friends and pulling Faction Champions. After a few practice tries we got them down, wasn`t that bad.
Of course, I`ll use this post to vent my thoughts, like usual. Even though I really dislike pvp, this fight is sort of challenging in a unique way - just not my kind. I don`t like the concept simply, not whining about "pvp in pve", I just don`t like it.
We played awesome though, got all that CC running around properly and got them down in a few tries. I would like to congratulate the whole raid for an awesome work, and special thanks to our friends Deadcentre and Siblink for helping us out to fill the raid - you did great!
To be honest, I was expecting to get Champs down within a few pulls; wasn`t so confident about the next boss - the Twin Val`kyr.
We had a larger break after Champs and managed to form a more adequate group, but still had some preparations to do. Now comes the fun part; YES, WE DID LOL DOOR STRAT. I couldn`t help laughing at the first few tries and laughed really hard when we won. It wasn`t that easy as it`s rumored though, needs some really enormous DPS burst to do the bad shield and every possible cooldown to survive 15k per sec raid damage, but it makes the whole fight less chaotic and less vulnerable to individual errors. This way, it`s just a numbers and coordination check, which we passed!
I feel the need to use caps when writing this, WHAT A BORING INSTANCE THIS DAMN COLISEUM IS!
Nothing more to say I guess, unless we miraculously down Anub soon hehe.
