For Karathe: That annoying star icon

Thought I'd post here in case someone else is also getting an annoying add-on behaviour.

The one in question is a (raid) star icon which appears on a mob's frame when you kill it. Not sure what it's for or from, something related to tar getting but having probs trying to locate the add-on responsible. Only started happening post-patch.

So, here's a list of my add-ons at the moment (not all are enabled, and some are specific to certain characters).

Karathe, if you could let me know which ones in the list you also have... it would help eliminate those which are not causing the problem.

And I too have the star, but I also have problems with errors on screen when I select my first target, pc, npc, once with foes once with friends. I'm just hoping for updates for whatever addon it's causing.

Well, locating the problematic add-on wasn't as easy as I thought

Titan BG and Healbot both cause the problem. I'm guessing they both request any (in some way) about the thing you're hitting. Which means CTMod/CTRA if enabled could also cause problems.

Gutted really, I use Titan BG mostly because it adds a BG minimap and Healbot (not really for healing) because I use it to help manage Blessing buffs.

There's a post in the CTmod forums about editing a line of code, but it's now incorporated into the latest download.

I have had the same problem. I am almost certain Healbot is causing it. Now it's turned off and it doesn't happen anymore.

I also updated all my Cosmos addons, turned off all the out of date addons, aside from Titan Bar (which isn't updated yet, but it works fine with me).

Plus Auctioneer is still version 4.0.1 but it is now compatible with the patch, so it should be downloaded newly.

I solved the problem and it's fairly easy to fix.

CT Mod is the guilty one.

Specifically CT UnitFrames, which you can set up inside CT Mod. Just turn off the display of numbers/etc. Should fix it until an update is released.

I'm having a problem with the star thing as well - I have Healbot so I'll disable it later and see if that helps.

I got it fixed yesterday but today the annoying little star was back so instead of messing with settings ingame I just disabled CT_UnitFrames in the addons section (logon screen) entirely.

That definately worked. No more annoying errors or stars in my target bars.

Did you turn off CT_unitframes in addons or inside the game? Because I found it only to work all the times when you remove the ct_unitframes entirely from the addonlist inyour logon screen
