Changes to AV

I remember when I was grinding for the bg mount in pely's 50's. AV always lasted about 2 hours, we got the ice lord almost every time (and once alliance managed to get lord ivus even) we sometimes got that wolf cavalry too..ah..sweet memories.. :'(

Sounds like AV isnt for you full stop.

True AV battles last ages, one  hour or more used to be the norm. Honor farming is diffcult to say is going on in AV as you are meant to stop the other faction from getting to your base and winning. I've seen the ice lord three times and it is a sight to see, if you have never seen him, then you havent played AV. ALso orders used to be given, such as X player go farm hides, X player capture wolfs, etc.

I personally like the longer battles, battles which are just races bore the hell outta me.

You cannot "group join" in AV, but you can join at the same time with x friends, and usually all will enter in the same AV. And I remember when battles in Alterac were about 2, 4 or 6 hours...savage zerg to take the control of a GY, rogues that  tried to take mines or strategic points, ppl shouting orders and so on....that was Alterac! 

Btw, let's see how this BG will change after this new patch notes...

Indeed, it was like instancing with 39 other people   
Collect bloods to summon Icy, escort Icy while he zergs the way to Vandaar, sneak along with rogues and droods to SP gy and capture it, lose all GYs and start all over again ... But still have lots of chances to win! Then, no matter if you lost or won, you was coming out of AV with a well earned 1k honor and beyond

Soo..I just reread that blue post..about all the Warlords and their General being pulled together. This will mean bgs will need to be alot more co-ordinated to tank all of those at once..they should introduce pre-made AV!

thing I don't like in bgs is ppl that dunno what to do with their class, if we go in group, i will be the one in front of the pally
